A Kabbaz-Kelly Shirt Jacket: Pure Cashmere with Lambskin Trim

Created from 10.5 oz. herringbone or 12 oz. solid color Pure Italian Cashmere, our cashmere shirt jacket is a unique, hand-crafted one-of-a kind piece. Trimmed with a complimentary color of lambskin at the undercollar and interior pocket, the shirt jacket is made to last a lifetime.
The "feel" is virtually impossible to describe. Soft as melted butter ... yet quite substantial ... the cashmere's finish emits a subtle radiance. All interior seams are covered with coordinated, hand-folded Swiss cotton. Only natural horn buttons are used ... unless otherwise desired.
What contributes to such a high cost? The cashmere we use costs us $800/yard and the jacket requires between 2.25-2.5 yards of cashmere depending upon size. Hand-folding the cotton seam covers takes four hours. A half dozen buttons at $5-6 per button. And then there are minor things like a few hours cutting and a dozen hours stitching.
Rarely commissioned - we've made only 12 of them - but four of the 12 have been orders for a second color if that gives any indication.
Cinnamon Brown, Tan, Charcoal, and Black solids are always on hand. The availability of herringbones and other solid shades varies year-to-year. At times White, Burgundy, Navy, and Hunter Green exist. If you have a different shade in mind we'll be happy to see if it can be had.
*Gentlemen Please ... A Note from Alexander Kabbaz: The Cinnamon Brown jacket in the photos is mine. Although I have gotten to wear it once or twice, please note where it usually ends up. Don't claim you weren't warned in advance!
